Travelling with Mr Sloth

Join Mr Sloth and Freddie the Frog on a gentle, funny, and fact-filled journey through the Netherlands.
Mr Sloth may travel slowly, but that helps him notice wonderful details that others miss. In Book 48 of the Travelling with Mr Sloth series, he explores Amsterdam's canals and narrow gabled houses, visits the historic windmills of Kinderdijk, follows colourful tulip gardens, learns how dikes and barriers help communities manage water, and discovers the tidal landscapes of the Wadden Sea.
Along the way, children learn about Dutch geography, wildlife, canals, wetlands, food, language, architecture, bicycles, flowers, water engineering, creativity, and community life. Mr Sloth practises simple Dutch phrases, makes a paper windmill, completes a Netherlands fact file, and collects a special Netherlands passport stamp for the Mr Sloth World Passport.
