Six Dahlia spent her whole life being told she is too late. Too wild. Too much.

When the Astral Thread, the living celestial root system connecting seven realms, is petrified by a violent extremist faction called the Unbound, the realms begin to die in isolation. And when Six's beloved sister Tree has her hand deliberately shattered by a man from Six's past, Six makes an impossible choice. She will cross the dead Thread alone, at the full moon, into Cristilline, a frozen hostile realm already ravaged by the Unbound, to find the only flower that can rebuild bone.

What she finds there is more than a flower.

In Cristilline, she discovers that some things survive seventeen rings of distance and silence. The Thread connects more than realms, and the land itself has been waiting for her arrival.

Thread moves between two timelines. The present, in which Six crosses an impossible distance alone, and the past, in which we watch her find her flow, her wildling Nova, her Saren, and the edges of something she couldn't name with a Wolf who was already certain about her.

It's a story about a woman who thought she was broken discovering she was always just wild. About found family as the deepest form of survival. About a love patient enough to wait seventeen rings and honest enough to say 'of course it's you' when it finally arrives.
