The Strays

Earth has fallen.

The Lorian Empire -- a four-armed, six-eyed alien force of staggering power -- has conquered humanity and remade the planet in their image. Humans are now livestock: bred, categorized, and discarded. Among the survivors are genetically modified hominoids conditioned to serve, feral hybreeds fighting to exist, and a scattered remnant of free humans desperately holding on to something worth fighting for.

The Strays follows an ensemble of outcasts navigating this brutal new world -- from Mabel and Vinzi, hominoid mates fighting to protect their unborn child aboard a Lorian starfreighter, to Jino, a young man crossing a ravaged Earth to find his father, to Nooz, a Lorian researcher whose growing empathy for the creatures he was sent to study may change everything.

Spanning alien motherships, devastated megacities, and the last free human strongholds, this is a story about what survives when civilization doesn't -- loyalty, resistance, and the stubborn insistence on seeing the humanity in others, even when humanity itself is nearly gone.
