THE SILENT LAKE

A woman screams across a silent lake. No one in town wants to explain why.

Claire Bennett came to an isolated cabin to escape a relationship that had left her questioning her own judgment. She wanted silence. Distance. A chance to feel safe again.

Then, just before dawn, she hears a woman's scream carried across the water.

On the opposite shore, she glimpses an elderly woman and a child. The locals offer reassuring explanations, but Claire's recordings suggest something is terribly wrong.

In 1989, a little girl was rescued near the lake. Her mother vanished. The man credited with saving her became a local hero.

Now someone is entering Claire's cabin. Old records contradict the story everyone remembers. And the abandoned pumping station may hold answers that someone has spent decades keeping hidden.

As Claire gets closer to the truth, she realizes that the danger she fled may have prepared her for the danger waiting here.

Some secrets aren't buried. They're protected.

THE SILENT LAKE is an atmospheric psychological thriller about survival, coercion, buried crimes, and the terrifying cost of believing the wrong person.
