The Pink Ladies

1900. She's baaaack! Join Dasha and Alex, operatives for the Bureau of Time Menders (BTM), as they return in Book II of the Slipstream Series. Dial up the Old West, and have a rollicking good time with them as they begin their next mission: stop Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid from stealing a trainload of precious gold artifacts from a train making its way to the Smithsonian in Washington, D.C.

On their tail is the obsessed Director of the Smithsonian Museums, Ellison Hargrove, member of the powerful nemesis to the BTM, the Anti-Time Traveling Organization (ATTO), who set up everything financially for archaeologist, Faith Gamble, to succeed in finding the Lost Treasure of the Incas - but with a steep price to pay. He wants three amulets that will give him total power to rule the world.

The Pinkerton Detective Agency has had no luck in rounding up Butch and Sundance, so they call in the BMT to take over. Posing as newlyweds, Dasha and Alex end up in 1900 Wyoming, where Butch and Sundance have a ranch, and where Sundance's girlfriend, Etta Place, has been holding down the fort. During the operation, Dasha meets the spectral Kate Warne, the first female detective hired by the Pinkertons ... who died in 1868. A ghost for a mentor? She wants Dasha and Alex to stop the robbery and to prevent Ellison from obtaining the magical jaguar amulets.

Dasha to the rescue! But first she must work a miracle, one that may very well give Dasha the courage to open her heart to love once again.
