The Mark

He wanted death. Instead, he was given centuries.

Barcelona, 1349. The Black Death has taken everything Eduard Ros loves. With his wife and daughter gone, he sees no reason to survive. Then an encounter beneath the stars changes his fate: Eduard becomes immortal.

Drawn into the world of the Angels of the Past, a secret society whose history stretches across the ages, he discovers that eternal life carries a burden no one can prepare him for.

From medieval Barcelona to the Maya world, from pirate ships to New York, Eduard's journey unfolds across seven centuries of love, friendship, loss, and adventure. Civilizations change. The people he loves grow old. And the memories he carries refuse to fade.

As his extraordinary life becomes entwined with the mysteries of the Library of Eternal Knowledge, one question follows him through the centuries: what makes a life worth living when it has no end?

The Mark: The Burden of Immortality blends historical fantasy, mystery, and adventure in a sweeping story about identity, the endurance of love, and the price of surviving.
