The Man Who Stands In The Rain

When the rain begins, he appears.

A woman driving home along a lonely country road during a violent storm sees a man standing motionless in the headlights. He wears a long black coat, an old hat, and keeps his head bowed beneath the weight of the downpour. He does not move. He does not speak. And when she looks again, he is gone.

At first, she tells herself it was only the weather, exhaustion, and the strange tricks darkness can play on the mind. But the next time it rains, she sees him again. Farther from the road. Closer to home. Standing at the edge of a garden. Reflected in a window. Waiting beneath a streetlamp. Always silent. Always soaked. Always nearer than before.

The legend is simple: once you see the man in the rain, he follows. He never runs because he never needs to. Every rainfall brings him closer, and every witness is forced to uncover why they were chosen. As fear turns into obsession, an old tragedy begins to surface, one buried beneath family secrets, drowned memories, and a crime that was never truly forgotten.

But the man is not only a ghost story.

He is punishment.

He is the past walking back through the storm.

And when he finally reaches the door, the rain will not be enough to wash the truth away.

THE MAN WHO STANDS IN THE RAIN is a dark supernatural horror novel of pursuit, guilt, and buried secrets, where every storm carries footsteps and every window may show something standing outside.
