The Life We InventedA Philosophy of Existence, Freedom and Happiness
Why are we here?
Human beings are born into a world where society already tells us how to live: study, get a career, earn money, gain status, become successful, and eventually die. But who decided that this is the correct way to live?
What if life has no predetermined purpose?
The universe existed before humanity. Earth is only one planet among countless others, and life may have emerged because the conditions allowed it. Perhaps humanity is a cosmic accident. This does not mean our lives are worthless. It may simply mean that we were not given an ultimate purpose from outside ourselves.
If there is no universal purpose, perhaps we are free to create our own.
The Earth Trap
The Earth Trap means wasting your life trying to satisfy expectations that are not truly yours.
Choosing a career only to impress people, chasing money only for status, or sacrificing your happiness because society expects it can make you live someone else's life.
Money and ambition are not bad. If you genuinely want wealth, pursue it. If you want a difficult career, work for it. The important thing is that the goal should be yours.
Happiness and Success
True happiness is more than temporary pleasure. It is satisfaction, fulfillment and mental peace.
A happy life does not mean avoiding every difficulty. Some things we genuinely want require hard work and sacrifice. The important thing is to enjoy the process, not wait for success before starting to live.
A person can fail to achieve a goal and still live a successful life if they genuinely wanted it, worked honestly and enjoyed the journey.
Society often measures success through money, fame and status. But a simple person who is peaceful and satisfied may be richer than someone with great wealth who is unhappy.
Success is personal.
Freedom and Responsibility
Your life belongs to you. Listen to people who genuinely care about you, especially when they point out risks, but do not let society control your decisions.
Freedom does not mean harming others.
Live for yourself, but allow others to live for themselves too.
Achieve your goals through your own effort. Do not make an innocent person sacrifice their freedom for your success.
Sacrifice and Self-Love
Sacrifice can be meaningful when you choose it for something you genuinely want. You may sacrifice comfort, time and temporary pleasure for a goal.
But do not sacrifice your health or your life itself. If achieving a goal destroys the life you wanted to enjoy, the goal becomes meaningless.
Love yourself. Improve yourself. Do not spend your life trying to impress others.
God and Death
This book also questions humanity's search for God and ultimate meaning. Perhaps God created us, or perhaps humans created the idea of God to deal with uncertainty and death. The book does not claim certainty; it asks us to question.
Death reminds us that our time is limited. Therefore, do not keep postponing life by saying, "I will live later."
Conclusion
Perhaps life has no predetermined purpose. Perhaps there is no cosmic scoreboard measuring our success.
But we are here.
We can experience life, choose our goals, enjoy the journey, love ourselves and respect the freedom of others.
A successful life is not necessarily the longest, richest or most famous life.
It is the life you genuinely wanted to live.
If life has no predetermined purpose, don't waste it trying to live someone else's life.
Live your own.
