THE ASYLUM BENEATH BLACK GLASS II

They were dead.

Then they came back.

Elias thought Saint Orison's was finally behind him.

The abandoned asylum had collapsed.

The ancient curse had been broken.

The patients were gone.

But then a dead woman appears in town.

She knows his name.

Then another patient returns.

Then another.

Soon, people who died inside Saint Orison's generations ago are walking the streets again.

They all remember Elias.

And they're all saying the same thing:

"The treatment isn't finished."

When Mara disappears, Elias has no choice but to return to the ruins.

Beneath the collapsed asylum, he discovers a ward that shouldn't exist.

The lights are still burning.

The beds are still warm.

And hundreds of patients are waiting in silence.

Then they open their eyes.

They don't attack.

They don't scream.

They simply stand.

And smile.

Because they've learned something from Elias.

They've learned how to remember.

They've learned how to survive.

And they've learned how to leave the asylum.
