Love is in the air, and with Brian and Aunt Christine's wedding fast approaching, Olivia Jenkins is looking forward to helping her sister plan the perfect celebration. Unfortunately for everyone involved, Grandma Helen and Brian's Mother, Nancy, are making that incredibly difficult. After meeting each other for the first time, it was evident that the two of them hated each other with a nuclear capability. So, in order to keep the peace, Olivia decides to take it upon herself to play mediator, but after unsuccessfully trying to persuade Grandma Helen, who is the least altruistic person on Earth, to a cease fire until after the wedding, she realizes that she may have bitten off more than she can chew. Add that to the myriad of other things Olivia has to tend to, i.e., dress shopping, floral shopping, and everything else that goes along with organizing a wedding, and you can understand why she has absolutely no time for the nervous breakdown she deserves.


Humorously chronicled through the eyes of Addie, the Jenkins eighteen-year-old daughter, Olivia is once again finding herself having to juggle the frivolity and eccentricities of her family, while at the same time, working hard to keep her own sanity intact. Whether having to suffer through an uncomfortable first encounter with the in-laws, keeping watch over a handsy, nymphomaniac bridesmaid, or de-escalating a geriatric catfight, you had better believe that the Jenkins family will have plenty of wine, laughs, and witty repartee to go along with it.
