Dean, a young boy, lives alone with his mother. He has been living a very sheltered lifestyle and doesn't have any friends. One day, he notices strange people in his neighbour's front yard. Dean is drawn to the blond-haired boy who is there and goes over to meet him.
Seth, a university student, is sent to stay with his uncle for the summer holidays. He hates having to go to the country area and believes that this might be a complete nightmare for him. When a younger boy approaches him at his uncle's place on the day of his arrival, he begins to think that things might turn out to be quite interesting instead.
