Speedy McFastpants is a boy who always runs around really fast. He has attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, or ADHD, and it affects everything in his life. Speedy loves to run, jump, climb, and wrestle. He knows he isn't supposed to climb on the furniture, but sometimes he forgets to think about the rules-and sometimes he remembers, but his body just climbs anyway! Life with ADHD can be difficult sometimes, but Speedy McFastpants knows that he is unique and special, that his mom loves him, and that he can succeed. This children's story explores what life is like for a little boy with ADHD and for the people around him in his day-to-day life.
