South of Hope

One heartbreak. One surprise baby. One last chance to fight for forever.

A guarded artist. A restless bronc rider. A summer that changes everything.

South of Hope is a deeply emotional contemporary romance set against the sweeping backdrop of Texas Hill Country, where love, ambition, betrayal, and forgiveness collide beneath wide skies and rodeo lights.

Amber Walker has spent her life building beauty from heartbreak through her art. Raised in Fredericksburg, Texas by the grandmother who first taught her to paint, Amber dreams of something larger than the quiet town that shaped her-until bronc rider Merrick Holt changes everything.

Merrick lives between rodeo arenas, ranch debt, and family legacy, carrying the weight of responsibility with quiet strength. Their connection ignites instantly-raw, consuming, impossible to ignore. But as Amber's art career begins pulling her toward Austin's elite gallery world, distance and insecurity slowly fracture the life they are trying to build together.

When betrayal, misunderstanding, and devastating loss threaten to destroy them completely, Amber and Merrick must confront the hardest truth of all.

Love alone is not enough without trust, vulnerability, and the courage to stay when everything inside you wants to run.

Love was never the question. Staying together? That's the real ride.

Lyrical, emotionally immersive, and rich with Texas atmosphere, South of Hope is a story about grief, redemption, found family, and choosing love again after it breaks you open.

Perfect for readers of Elsie Silver, Devney Perry, and Colleen Hoover.
