Soul Reaver

After being cast out by the Vampire Guild, Christian was left to wander the shadowy sewers of Paris for nearly two centuries. Overcoming his fears despite the oppressive darkness and the constant threat of danger, guided by the souls he has reaved and a vision of hope and love, Christian embarks on a journey that takes him from the murky alleyways of Paris to the opulent halls of England's royal bloodline and, ultimately, the very heart of the vampire species hidden deep within the Carpathian Mountains.

Christian is thrust into a battle to save himself and the world from the clutches of the malevolent Necromancer, whose black magic has driven the vampire species to the brink of extinction. This evil entity has stolen a significant portion of the world's magic and transformed a once-thriving valley into a barren wasteland. From this Valley of Darkness, she dispatches her acolytes to collect the remaining magical tomes to unlock the Path of Kaldoron, the birthplace of all magic, and seize dominion over the world.

Armed with only the souls he has consumed and the companions he has met along the journey, Christian must fulfil his destiny and emerge victorious, or all is lost.
