Neben den theoretischen Grundlagen der Simulationstechnik zeigt das Buch Vorgehensweisen zum Aufbau von Simulationsmodellen und erl{utert diese anhand von Praxisbeispielen aus dem Bereich Proze~simulation mit Blechumformung, Massivumformung, NC- und Roboter-Programmierung, Simulation in der Anlagenplanung mit Fabrikplanung, Planung und Betrieb von flexiblen Fertigungssystemen sowie Simulation in der Produktionssteuerung mit Produktionsprogrammplanung und Produktionsfeinplanung.
