We still live with the taboo and stigma for people with emotional problems. Some survivors are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression, even suicidal ideas, because they have repressed their painful memories of past abuse.
Over the years I have met many therapists who are reluctant to work with patients with a history of sexual abuse.
I hope Jamie's story inspires young women and men to receive therapy and young therapists to help them, so that they can heal and grow, and lead a happy, healthy, and peaceful life that we call Green Zone Living.
