The prosperous Kingdom of Aldoria prides itself on its progressive tolerance, magical universities, and high culture. But beneath the veneer of absolute equity lies a creeping rot. The zealous Vokaran Empire, having failed to conquer Aldoria by force centuries ago, has found a deadlier weapon: ideological subversion. Disguised as desperate refugees, Vokaran infiltrators are embedding themselves in the highest courts and academies, systematically dismantling Aldoria's defenses from the inside out.

Darian Vance, a devout paladin struggling with his Order's compromises, and Thorek Hammerfall, a master dwarven craftsman watching his guild be taxed into oblivion, are among the few who see the truth. Together with a brilliant but marginalized wizard, a charismatic street conman, an outcast elven ranger, and a half-elf diplomat playing a dangerous political game, they form an unlikely alliance to expose the conspiracy.

But in a society where rational thought has been replaced by emotional manipulation, speaking the truth is the most dangerous act of all. The Vokari have turned Aldoria's own compassion into a weapon, and anyone who questions the narrative is quickly silenced, shamed, or destroyed.
