In a period marked by such rapid and fundamental threats to global peace, it has become imperative to seek to encourage the exploration of global and regional problems concerning international security through scholarly lenses. It is most pleasing to report at this stage that in the recent years, there have been a surge of interest in support of the peace movement. The thought for this diary of global conflicts and peace building measures, was motivated after such eruption . Welcome to Volume One, in the series of this operational journal for peace and civil society activists.
