You got sober, life is better the work is done right? Definitely not thought Shelby John as the challenges of sober living while raising a family, staying married, and building a business presented themselves time after time. Sobriety is just the beginning. The realization that you have to change everything in order to have internal peace and joy was daunting.

In the midst of sobriety, when she could no longer point the finger at others for her character defects, she realized that recovery doesn't stop just because the drinking did. She determined those who accept who they are as sober women and build lives full of grace, commitment and love give up nothing (substances), and get everything. In the two decades since her sober life began she has been learning and using the tools of emotional sobriety to continue recovering.
