Blond, blauäugig und weiß besteht unsere Welt nur aus Menschen mit diesen Merkmalen? Warum sehen die meisten Puppen so aus? Geht man davon aus, dass Puppen gesellschaftliche Lebenszusammenhänge widerspiegeln, dann ist es sinnvoll, einen kritischen Blick in diesen Spiegel zu werfen. Was sagen uns die allgegenwärtig verfügbaren Puppen über unsere Welt und die Vielfalt der Menschen? In drei brasilianischen Studien geht es um die Entschlüsselung dieser Botschaften und um fatale Risiken und wunderbare Chancen von Puppen in pädagogischen Kontexten.§Blond, blue-eyed and white is our world made up only of people with these characteristics? Why do most of the dolls look like this? If we assume that dolls reflect life constellations within society, than it is worth casting a critical view into this mirror. What do the currently available and omnipresent dolls tell us about the world and the diversity of people within it? Three Brazilian studies focus on decoding these messages and revealing both the fatal risks and wonderful chances for dolls in pedagogical contexts.
