Prepare the Way Leader's Guide

Help students prepare their hearts to respond to Jesus.

PREPARE THE WAY: Leader's Guide equips youth leaders, Bible class teachers, small-group leaders, and retreat leaders to guide students through five paths of preparation drawn from the Gospel of Mark.

Through five encounters with Jesus and His teaching, students are challenged to:

PREPARE - Make room for Jesus
RECEIVE - Hear His word with a receptive heart
CHOOSE - Follow Jesus when something else competes for the heart
TREASURE - Recognize what Jesus is worth
STAND - Remain faithful when following Him becomes difficult

The Leader's Guide contains the complete Student Edition, allowing leaders to follow every page students are using, along with additional resources designed specifically for those guiding the journey.

Leader resources include preparation for each lesson, biblical insight, discussion guidance, teaching cautions, and optional activities that help bring each journey to life.

Rather than simply providing answers to teach, the guide helps leaders ask thoughtful questions, create room for honest conversation, keep students engaged with Scripture, and continually point them toward Jesus.

Designed for youth Bible classes, small groups, retreats, and discipleship settings, PREPARE THE WAY helps leaders move beyond simply completing lessons toward helping students become ready to hear and respond to Jesus.

The goal is not just to finish the lesson. The goal is to help students become ready to respond to Jesus.
