Pietro Petri, Mamma's Favorite Dish!

Pietro Petri, Mamma's Favorite Dish!
by Nicci Santino Balestrieri

A heartfelt rhyming picture book about IVF, motherhood, and the love that makes a family.

Inspired by the author's own IVF journey with his wife, this tender and beautifully illustrated story celebrates the miracle of parenthood through the eyes of a curious little boy and the mother who never gave up on bringing him into the world.

Each day, Pietro Petri asks the same delicious question: "Is this your favorite dish?" From pasta al pesto to lemony linguine, Mamma serves her love on a plate-but her real favorite isn't food at all. It's a secret she's ready to share: the story of how science, hope, and endless love brought her greatest creation to life-him.

Through lyrical rhymes and warm illustrations, Pietro Petri, Mamma's Favorite Dish gently introduces young children to the concept of IVF while honoring the unshakable bond between a parent and child.
