Every case in this book begins with a death: a victim, the room where the body was found, and the hour it happened. Four to six suspects spent that evening moving from room to room, and each of them has given a statement. The evidence never lies. From the Hard cases on, one of the suspects does, and it is always the killer.

Your tools are a pencil and a timeline, with a row for each suspect and a column for each hour. No one entered the same room twice, and no two people were ever in a room at the same time. As you place each suspect hour by hour, the statements turn against each other, until only one person can have been in that room at the hour of the murder.

Eighty cases in four levels, from Easy nights with four suspects to Expert nights with six, with every solution at the back of the book. Each case number matches a case in the Midnight Alibi app.
