The research provides an overview of the current and emerging patient tracking systems that are available. The research examines the implications for incident management by analyzing the tracking systems and discussing the need for standardization and integration into the current emergency response system. Finally, a recommendation is made that integrates the research findings. The recommendation reinforces the need for a standardized nation-wide patient tracking system.
