Captain Scott Moore takes Arcadia to Blackgate, a Shaper fortress prohibiting starships from successfully navigating jumpspace. But there is more to Blackgate than anticipated.

Lost to the ravages of time, a lost human colony struggles for survival. They hold the keys to opening a front against their Shaper oppressors-a fleet of ships, if only they can be repaired.
