I never thought I was capable of wanting someone... until Miles made me want it all.

Few things in my life give me joy-my job, my friends, and my three-legged cat named Clematis. They are anchors in my dark mind, something I rely on to keep me from drifting into hopelessness.

After bringing some new plants home, I ask in an online forum if they're safe for my furbaby. Right away, an unexpected friendship blooms with one of the responders. Miles knocks me off my feet and steadies me at the same time. Our easy conversations are a life raft when all I've known is drowning. Miles doesn't just understand my lows-he soothes them.
