Impinging streams belong to a class of unique flow §configurations that has proved very effective when §being applied to a wide array of §chemical/biochemical engineering unit operations. §This book presents a thorough study of some §important transport characteristics of impinging §streams, which are necessary to understand the §behavior of this highly complex flow configuration. §The topics include laminar and turbulent single-§phase impinging streams as well as turbulent gas-§solid impinging streams.
