Games with the Devil

Devyn is an average college student living her life and working towards her goals. It hasn't been easy, but she has always found a way to get by alone. She managed to navigate the death of her parents that left her an orphan and moving around a system that didn't care for her, then survive an abusive relationship with her high school sweetheart.
James is just trying to live as quiet and unassuming life as possible. As a teenager, he and his mother were sent into hiding by his father for their protection. Years later it became necessary for his mother and him to split up for both their safety.
Locked in a dark cell at the bottom of a mansion in a dead zone where people are forbidden to go due to radiation leaking from the ground, Devyn meets James. He shows her kindness and tells her what is really going: her ex-boyfriend is not who she thought he was, he designed one hell of a game, and she is a player in a game of life and death. Now, she must decide if she will join the man she thought was her ex-boyfriend or fight for her life and the lives of those around her.
As Devyn figures out how to survive, she begins to learn who she must become and that this game is much bigger than she could have imagined. Can she learn to trust people? Can she become the person she needs to be to survive? Can she learn to play a game with the devil when he gets to write all the rules?
