On a random Thursday at the end of October, an accountant called James decides to go to the cinema. He didn't think a random cinema trip would change his life, but this one did. Because what he didn't know was that he would be sat next to the person who would change his life. James and Dawn fell in love quickly. They thought they would have forever. Until Valentine's Day. In the middle of what should have been a night filled with love, James comes face to face with a stranger whose eyes are impossibly cold. Before Dawn can understand what is happening, the man takes James' life, and everything goes black. But James wakes up. Alive. Only something is terribly wrong. The world he remembers isn't the world he returned to. Familiar places feel different. People remember things differently. Memories no longer fit together, and somewhere in this altered timeline, Dawn is still waiting for him. The only problem is he has memories of both timelines.
