Finding your fire within a burning world is a book that seeks to help you figure out who you are, what you want to do and where you want life to take you. It is a book that challenges the idea that you can find all of this in one afternoon and instead it offers you a way to find that spark within yourself and provide it a way to grow over time. Our world is burning for many reasons. This year alone we have encountered large scale environmental, political, and economic disasters. For many of you, things may seem out of control. I want this book to help you get back some sense of control and develop a fire in you that is so strong and may become a turning point in your life. And maybe you will join me and seek to develop a better world.I will take you through the tools that have helped me to create a 'spark', which has provided a pathway for my own 'fire' to develop. Life has thrown me many curveballs and I believe that the knowledge in this book has allowed me to adapt it to both predictable and unpredictable situations.We will explore the tools together and I will provide some examples using my own career journey over the past 15 years combined with interesting case studies and well documented research. My goal for you is to develop the foundational skills to develop your own fire within and adapt it for a world that is burning.
