In the second installment of the Sci-fi STEAM Action-Adventure series Edventures with Vittorio, a standard homeroom lesson transforms into a race across ancient history for Vittorio and the Fig Grove Crew.

Vittorio-a neurodivergent, 9-year-old wise-cracking cool kid with an autoimmune condition-uses his magical time-bending compass and imagination to transport his friends Xuan Lin Chavez and Langston William Miller directly onto the Silk Road while navigating a chronic illness flare-up from his custom cool dinosaur-print wheelchair.

Together, the trio must use real-world proportional systems, friendship, math and teamwork to resolve a massive merchant trade bottleneck. Combining Xuan's data tracking, Langston's strength, and Vittorio's brilliant strategic mind, they calculate the exact copper coin-to-wares ratio needed to save the caravan before the territory gates close.

Returning seamlessly to their school bleachers, they think the mission is accomplished-until a damp clue left on the high-gloss gym floor teases a soaking wet, high-seas adventure on the horizon.
