Dixie

Dixie is lying in the shadows just outside the grasp of the detectives who keep her at the top of their suspect list in her husband Jimmy's murder. One detective, Hawke Stone, trusted her by becoming too close to the pretty redhead during his homicide investigations, and Dixie silenced him while singing him a dark lullaby.

Hawke Stone's fellow detectives lack evidence in several ghastly murder cases popping up throughout their county. They cannot pin Jimmy Buchanan's murder on any one suspect due to the tumultuous way he lived his life; although they suspect his wife, Dixie, of the murder, they can't prove it. Every detective involved with the murder cases is at a loss for a suspect in the murders that began shortly after Jimmy's gruesome murder, which rocked their small town. They indeed have a serial killer on their hands, but how do they catch them with the killer always ten steps ahead, leaving no evidence at any crime scene?
