Dawn of Mortals

The gods gave humanity sanctuary above the clouds. Cassian Vale never questioned what they demanded in return.

In the floating fortress city of Ironhold, hunters are humanity's shield against the creatures that roam the world below. Cassian is among their finest-a celebrated warrior whose divine blessings have made him a symbol of hope. With his closest friend, Aiden, beside him and his greatest honor within reach, his future seems certain.

Then a dying monster speaks.

Its final words lead Cassian toward a forbidden name: Hades. Suddenly, the victories he once treasured become questions he cannot ignore. What are the hunters truly killing? Why has an entire god been erased from humanity's memory? And how far will the rulers of the heavens go to keep their secrets buried?

Branded a traitor and pursued by the powers he once served, Cassian abandons everything he knows. With Catherine, an unexpected ally, he follows a trail through hidden archives, forgotten wilderness, and the ruins of a history the gods would rather leave untouched.

But uncovering the truth means confronting his own part in the lie. It also threatens the bond with the man he calls his brother-and the fragile order holding humanity together.

As loyalty collides with conscience, Cassian must decide what protecting his people truly requires, and what he is willing to sacrifice to give them a choice.

The Last Age of the Gods opens The Gods & Mortals Saga, an epic fantasy inspired by Greek mythology, where floating kingdoms conceal ancient injustices, faith carries a terrible cost, and a hunter's greatest act of courage may be questioning the gods who made him.
