Whilst on a foraging trip to the Shadow Realm Matthew and Nigel become trapped in a snow globe which accidently becomes lost in the Shadow Realm's vast ocean. Phoebe and Cat enlist the help of Colin the Clurichaun and Sara the Siren in their search for Matthew and Nigel, and despite the presence of an ominous Niflheim which threatens to engulf everyone, Auntie Lyn, Gertie and a will-o-the-wisp also help in their own unique ways in the hope that they will not be too late. With the help of a meandering rainbow, a pair of Seven-League Boots and two rainbow moonstones Colin and Sara enter the Shadow Realm, but unbeknown to everyone Matthew and Cat's baby daughter, Alice might just have the ability to save the day.
