Every promise Scripture names, gathered in one place.
Scripture promises on nearly every page, and the promises are of two kinds. In one, a condition is named and a good follows it: believe, return, ask, confess, obey, wait, overcome, walk in the light. In the other, God binds himself and names no price at all - the oath after the flood, the oath to Abraham, the throne promised to David's house, the new heart, the new covenant, the new heavens and the new earth.
This book gathers both kinds: 871 entries of the first, 244 of the second, in the order of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. A short line under each reference names the people the passage addresses; Israel stays Israel, and the church is marked only where the passage speaks to the church.
Taste and see that the Lᴏʀᴅ is good (Psalm 34:8). Meet the conditions, and experience God fulfilling what he promised. Every promise here is an invitation to open the passage itself and read it in your own Bible, as the Bereans did.
About the author.
Joseph H. Bae is a father and an uncle, and he lives in England. He is a data scientist, a physicist by training, with degrees from Cambridge and Yale, and a Bible-believing Christian. During the Covid-19 pandemic he and his son memorised all 176 verses of Psalm 119 in Korean, and that memorising began this book.
