Lena never planned to build a future inside a grocery store.

She came to Bridgeton looking for a paycheck, a fresh start, and somewhere quiet enough to rebuild the pieces of herself she left behind. Harvest Hill Market was supposed to be temporary-just a crooked hiring sign, a closing shift, and a place to begin again.

Then she met Eli.
