After 68 years, Archie Andrews finally gets married-to Veronica. Or does he marry Betty? In celebration of the 600th issue of Archie Comics, the story of the century- Archie Gets Married!A"-was released and created mainstream headline news all over the world. The eternal love triangle that has been the cornerstone of Archie comics for almost seven decades is finally untangled in the six-part story that started with the release of the Proposal" on August 19, 2009, one of the bestselling comics of the year, and culminates in Spring 2010. The storyline, written by Michael Uslan and illustrated by veteran Archie artist Stan Goldberg, began in issue no. 600, when Archie finds himself strolling "up Memory Lane," and marries the wealthy and cultured Veronica Lodge. Later, we see what happens when he strolls "down Memory Lane" and marries the wholesome, peppy, girl-next-door, Betty Cooper. What happens after that is still Top Secret. This pivotal series of six-issues will be bound in the same format as our The Simpsons Futurama Crossover Crisis hardcover collection, encased in a double die-cut slipcase, and packaged with a facsimile reprint of the classic Archies comic from the 1940s where Archie first meets Betty and Veronica.
