With Gene Kranz serving as Flight Director, audience members become NASA flight controllers responsible for guidance, trajectory, spacecraft systems, crew safety, communications, and the crucial GO or NO GO decisions that determine whether the mission continues.

As Eagle descends toward the Moon, Mission Control confronts communication problems, unexpected 1201 and 1202 computer alarms, a hazardous landing area, dwindling fuel, and the possibility that the mission may need to be aborted only moments before touchdown.

Through authentic controller roles, status polls, audience decisions, historical storytelling, and an in-character question-and-answer session, participants experience Apollo 11 not as a story whose ending is already known, but as a mission unfolding in real time.

Designed for one performer with simple staging, this interactive historical play is ideal for schools, libraries, museums, science centers, planetariums, historical societies, community theaters, and educational programs.
