The book's significance lies in its documentation of Turkey's growing regional role in the Middle East. It sheds light on the importance of understanding Turkey's role, analyzing its aims, objectives, and consequences in a changing world, and in light of the violent transformations sweeping the Middle East. The book addresses Turkish intervention in Egypt, the Eastern Mediterranean, Syria, and Iraq. It also examines Turkish-Saudi relations, as well as relations with Qatar, Palestine, and Israel. It adopts a rigorous and crucial research approach in international relations: the regional role of certain prominent states and the evolution of this role over time, leading to geographical, political, ideological, and diplomatic dominance over neighboring countries. Furthermore, within its analysis of key issues and prominent stances, it emphasizes that Turkey has focused on cultivating supportive Arab and Islamic public opinion regarding its position on the Palestinian issue, which it considers the central issue in the Middle East. Political analyst and coordinator of the Kurdistan Republican Party in Europe, Faiq Dilo, from Berlin, revealed Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan's provocative policies in the Arab region as well as his incursions into the waters of Cyprus. He stated that Erdogan's policies are always provocative anywhere in the world, explaining that Turkish policy is based on adopting the Ottoman dreams of control, and this dream has not been absent from the minds of the Turkish state for hundreds of years.
