Tulips

This cross-stitch chart is one of a dense cluster of tulips. The tulips are the dominant feature, filling most of the frame. They are depicted in a wide range of red and orange hues, with some showing yellow and even hints of purple in their petals. The colour palette is highly saturated, giving the tulips an almost glowing appearance. The individual petals are clearly defined but rendered in a slightly impressionistic style, not photorealistic. The blooms are in various stages of openness, some fully unfurled, others still tightly closed in bud.The tulips are arranged densely, suggesting a lush garden setting. Their stems and leaves are depicted in dark, rich greens, providing contrast to the vibrant flowers. The stems are relatively thick and somewhat abstract in their representation. The leaves are long and slightly curved. In the background, behind the tulips, is a partially visible structure resembling a stained-glass window, or a window with a vividly coloured pattern. The colours in the background echo those of the tulips, with blues, purples, and hints of other colours, creating a cohesive colour scheme. The background is darker than the foreground, making the tulips pop. The style of the background adds to the overall artistic and non-photorealistic effect of the image. The overall mood is one of intense beauty and vibrancy. The rich colours and dense arrangement of tulips create a feeling of abundance and lushness. The slightly stylized rendering and the background's pattern add an element of artistry and perhaps a touch of mystery or fantasy to the scene. There is a sense of richness and warmth, possibly evoking feelings of springtime or a garden in full bloom. The pattern is split into 12 separate charts with symbols to represent the different colours in the image. Both colour and black and white charts are provided to allow the user to use whichever they prefer.A DMC floss chart is included.
