Thirty-Seventh Line

The 37th parallel has been called America's UFO Superhighway. Dr. Nora Cade does not believe a line of latitude can explain the impossible. Then a surveyor dies beside a boundary marker. His GPS locks to exactly thirty-seven degrees north while his altitude climbs thousands of meters without him moving. His final radio transmission describes stars that are not ours. Minutes later, he is found dead from injuries resembling a catastrophic pressure change.Nora arrives expecting equipment failure, bad data, and frightened witnesses.Instead, compasses begin pointing south. Animals refuse to cross invisible boundaries. Cameras record black structures no one remembers photographing. An abandoned military program called Palisade has been studying the same phenomenon since 1963.And the evidence suggests something worse than an invasion. The more humanity observes the anomaly, the easier it becomes to observe humanity back. The Thirty-Seventh Line is a cosmic UFO horror novel about perception, scientific uncertainty, hidden history, and what happens when looking becomes a form of contact.
