In this book, media stances on the Russian-Ukrainian war appear divergent. Based on these stances, the researcher studied the methods and approaches used by three television stations-Al Arabiya, BBC Arabic, and TRT Arabic-in their coverage of the Russian-Ukrainian war. The study is divided into several chapters to shed light on the history of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, Russian interventions in Ukraine, the positions of successive Ukrainian governments regarding Russian interference in their affairs, the years preceding Russia's annexation of Crimea, and those following this act, which Ukrainians consider an invasion of their country, while the Russian side views it as a historical right, paved by several previous stances, wars, and conflicts. Through diligent research, the author attempts to find a framework for understanding the ongoing conflict and to examine the positions of the countries represented by the broadcasting stations studied. Through continuous media coverage, numerous findings emerge that can be used as a basis for media and political analysis to understand the true nature of the conflict. This book is perhaps one of the first media studies in the Arab world that dealt with the Russian-Ukrainian war, by television stations that have a long history of covering wars and conflicts in the world, especially those conflicts that have changed the course of history in previous eras.
