Integral safety plays a significant role in the design of motor vehicles, in user survey results and in reporting in specialized journals or on the internet. Development conditions change at ever shorter intervals due to new laws, rating programs and CAE methods. One focus of innovation lies in the increasing automation of driving tasks and in the phase that connects active with passive safety – preventive safety.
