In Arabic grammar and transformational grammar

This book is an attempt to reread some of our grammatical heritage in light of a modern linguistic approach. The scientific duty requires us researchers to connect with our heritage on the one hand, and to be open to modern linguistic developments on the other, so that we do not close our minds to what our grammarians left behind of a heritage that calls for admiration, respect, and pride, nor to what is happening around us in terms of modern linguistic developments, and to try earnestly to benefit from modern scientific theories in the field of linguistics, as this may help with some aspects of our glorious heritage and add new epistemological dimensions. This book contains within its covers three research papers that were published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, which I felt I should collect in a book in the hope that the reader will benefit from it, and that it will be a step on the path, and God guides to the right path.
