Given the importance of animal protein in the human diet, as it contains essential amino acids, and considering the high cost of animal feed, the intense competition between livestock and poultry on one hand, and humans on the other, for food such as grains, and the emergence of diseases in animals and poultry, which poses a significant challenge to expanding livestock and poultry production,the idea of ??focusing on fisheries emerged to contribute significantly to solving the problem of animal protein deficiency. Overfishing and increased demand for fish have led to a decline in fish stocks along the coasts, resulting in reduced supply in the markets and an inability to meet people's protein needs. This necessitated the contribution of scientists in developing fishing methods and advancing the concept of aquaculture, which has evolved considerably over time in response to the increasing demand for fish. It is well-known that fisheries represent a crucial pillar of development, and therefore, Malaysia has recently expanded its fisheries projects, facilitated by its geographical and environmental conditions. The delegation has recently turned to using modern technologies to increase production efficiency, in line with market needs, and this book attempts to benefit from those experiences.
