Enjoying the Journey is a collection of travel essays about finding rest, reflection, and renewed strength through journeys in nature.Over the years, Chaedam traveled through Jirisan, the Seomjin River, mountains, villages, temples, and many places across Korea. Some journeys were taken alone to clear a weary mind, while others were shared with family as the children grew.Walking long mountain trails, listening to birds and flowing water, playing the Daegeum in nature, meeting people along the way, and sometimes simply sitting quietly before a mountain or river, travel became more than moving from one place to another. It became a way to pause, reflect, and rediscover the joy of living.Enjoying the Journey is not a travel guide. It is a personal record of walking, family, nature, music, memories, and the small moments of "e;Pure Enjoyment"e; found along the road.May these journeys invite readers to pause for a while, look around, and perhaps set out on a journey of their own.
